live video link to james comey's testimony at the house judiciary subcommittee hearing may 3, 2007

UP D A T E D:

c-span3 will carry the hearing
tomorrow morning, as well
. . .

once again, i thought it might
be useful to have -- in advance -- a
working link to tomorrow's
9:30 a.m. e.d.t. house
judiciary sub-committee
hearing on the u.s. attorney
firings -- specifically, the
testimony of james comey, a
former DoJ official
. the
agenda item presently reads as follows:

"Thursday 05/03/2007 - 9:30 AM
2141 Rayburn House Office Building

Subcommittee on Commercial
and Administrative Law
Hearing on The Continuing
Investigation into the U.S.
Attorneys Controversy
By Direction of the Chairman.
"

this hearing will include the
sworn-testimony of james comey.

his will be the headliner,
for certain, but we may hear
more on the seemingly-
willful non-complaince, by
alberto gonzales
, with
rep. conyers' judiciary comm-
ittee-issued subpoena
duces tecum
of april 10, 2007.

[contempt of congress, anyone?]

we might get an
update on the committee's
progress on ms. monica
goodling's use immunity
and potential appearance
date, to boot. . .

[the link will also be made
available -- by clicking rep.
conyers' portrait, at right.]

for now, the above-links will
show only a placeholder-screen
from boss streamos. . .

so, check back just before
9:30 a.m., east coast time,
tomorrow, okay?

hey, thanks! I hope to be off work early enough here in Germany to catch that!

i promise the hearing will
NOT disappoint! comey will
put a new face on the un-
seemly way these attorneys
were fired -- likely for
not moving politically-charged
cases (often meritless, at that)
forward in time to influence
the mid-term elections in 2006.

Here is an enlightening video from the Comey hearing today. I know it is commonplace for lawmakers to waste time intentionally, but this sort of brings it to a new level.
