LIVE VIDEO -- january 17, 2007: house sub-committee chairman linda t. sánchez to hold hearing on DoJ special counsel regulations
on thursday morning:
REAL VIDEO LINK
this hearing certainly ought to be
live-web-cast or broadcast over CSPAN,
inasmuchas it will quite likely delve
into the processes used (or abused) to
appoint various special counsels at the
DoJ -- among them, one looking into whether
to refer to a criminal grad jury for indictment,
evidence adduced thus far in the "torture
tapes" destruction debacle. there is no
witness list as of yet, but watch this
space -- i'll update with a witness list,
and a link to the live-stream, as each
becomes available.
[as to non-witnesses, i'll note for the
record that this is the hearing at which
rodriquez has declined to appear without
prior blanket immunity. sheesh.]
