white house documents due at 2:30 p.m., today


it seems, on friday, that
the white house requested yet
another extension on its
subpoena return date. the subpoena
seeks documents related to the legal
opinions relied on for warrantless-
wiretapping of u.s. citizens without
probable cause after 9/11, among
other things. . .

senator leahy is "disinclined to acquiesce"
[he he! "it means. . . 'no'. . ."]
to the white house request, given
that these papers have been sought
for over two years, and the white
house has twice already received
extensions. . . so, what will be
delivered? who knows? here we go:
